.:Dream Horse:.

Yeah, to be honest my dream horse is a Haflinger with a long flowing mane and tail. Iv'e always loved the breed. But when i look at Savvy, I couldn't have gotten much closer as far as color goes, and i can't help but notice, almost everyone i know has a palomino horse character in thier art boxes that has a rich gold color, fluffy bleach white mane and tail with a huge blaze and 4 socks to match. I love him, This spring we seemed to have broken the barrier between us and he finally feels like MY horse and not like I'm sitting behind someone else on him. He nickers to me in the pasture, he recognises my call, he trots to the gate to be let out. Yeah he is picky and not the easiest to keep fat, healthy, clean and my god is he the biggest wuss I have ever seen, but i take what i have and make the best of it. He hates bareback and gives me the most god awfull faces you have ever seen in your life when i try to get on him bareback, he also HATES the protective boots that I got him and proceeds to walk like a deer in them every time i put them on, he hates when i have to clean and pick his scratches to put meds on, but he loves his full face fly mask with ears, excepts his splint boots and bell boots willingly, rides in a halter and is usually super sensitive in a bit, tries his hardest to listen to my legs even though he would just love to iggnore them, he has proven that when he is focused he can learn quickly, he will take me or any beginer down the trails lead or follow(as long as they keep thier legs off his sides, post in the trot and they ride him bitless), he wont touch a fence even if it's just one line non electric, he has the potential to be a heck of a jumper and loves it and he's the best darn horse for keeping me honest! So even though he wasn't my first choice, I'm glad he's mine and i wouldn't give him up for any haflinger.
